CARR MILL WEAVER - Pte James Harrison killed
Mrs. Harrison of 13 Spring Lane, Haslingden has received an intimation that her husband Private james Harrison, of the East Lancs. Regt., was killed in action on March 31st.
The deceased soldier enlisted a month after the outbreak of the war, and went to France in July of 1915. He was wounded last June but recovered and was returned to the fighting line.
