A large circle of people will regret to learn, for he was respected by all who knew him, that Private John Thomas Coulton, Lancashire Fusiliers, was killed in action on June 7th 1917.
His wife lives at 1, Deansgrove, Haslingden, and he was employed as a calender man at Holden Wood Bleachworks. He was connected with Laneside Parish Church.
