DID HIS "BIT" AT 41 - THE LATE RICHARD ATKINSON OF HASLINGDEN. 

Private letters just to had state that Mr. Richard Atkinson, of Mill Street, Haslingden, has died in hospital.
He was formerly a weaver at Sykeside Mill, had a wife and child, and was about 40 years of age.
He joined a labour battalion, which was sent to France.  He was connected with the Congregational Sunday School.
