DID HIS "BIT" AT 41 - THE LATE RICHARD ATKINSON OF HASLINGDEN.
Private letters just to had state that Mr. Richard Atkinson, of Mill Street, Haslingden, has died in hospital.
He was formerly a weaver at Sykeside Mill, had a wife and child, and was about 40 years of age.
He joined a labour battalion, which was sent to France. He was connected with the Congregational Sunday School.
In loving memory of my dear Husband, Private Richard Atkinson who died in France, March 6th 1917.
