FLASH MILL HAND FALLS
WOUNDED LAST OCTOBER HAD ONLY BEEN OUT AGAIN SINCE MARCH.

Official word has come to hand that Private Harry Armitage, of Warburton's Buildings, Grane Road, Haslingden, has been killed in action.  He was a weaver at Flash Mill, Haslingden.
He had been in the Army a couple of years, was wounded in October, 1916, and from the hospital he came home for his 21st birthday.  He returned to his regiment in March of that year.
