Official notice has been received by Mrs. Greenwood, of Rawtenstall Road, Sykeside, Haslingden, of the death of her son, Private James Edward Greenwood (25272), East Lancashire Regiment, at the 42nd British General Hospital, Amara, on November 25th 1916. The deceased soldier was 41 years of age, Great sympathy is felt for the family in their sad loss.
