Mrs. Glover, of Lyndale Avenue, Haslingden has received notification that her son, Private David Harold Glover of the Dublin Fusiliers has fallen in action.
Private Glover was second son of the late Mr. L.A Glover, master printer, Deardengate, and was 20 years of age. he was in his father's business for a time, but afterwards went to the Maypole shop at Haslingden as assistant.
He is on the roll of honour of Haslingden Parish Church. He joined up in December 1916, and went to France on May 1st 1917. his eldest brother, Frank, is serving with the Army in Italy.
