FORMER HASLINGDEN RESERVIST - 1st A.M. SUTHURST KILLED
News has been received in Haslingden of 1st Air Mechanic Suthurst, Royal Air Force, of Shepherd Street, Norden. Deceased was 25 years of age and before enlistment was employed by Messrs. Kersall and Kemp Ltd, and associated with St. Paul's Church and Sunday School, Norden.
Up to a few years ago he resided in Every Street, Haslingden and was an employee of Birtwistle and Co., Grane Road. He was connected with St. James Parish Church, and was a young man well known and highly respected.
