Miller, George Thomas - Private

1st Gordon Highlanders,
Died of Wounds,
29th August 1918

Newspaper Report:

Official notice has been received of the death from wounds of Private George Thomas Mill,er 1st Gordon Highlanders, and only son of Mrs. Miller, of 4 Lockgate, Haslingden.
The deceased soldier had been previously gassed in April of this year but recovered after a few weeks in hospital in France.  He is now reported to have died from wounds August 29th 1918.
In civil life Private Miller was employed as a warehouseman at Syke Side Mill, and was highly respected and esteemed by all who knew him.
