Wren, Thomas - Private (15850)

Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.
Died on board ship at Dardanelles from dysentery.
November 23rd 1915.


According to the Commonwealth Graves Commission Thomas Wren served as Thomas Coleman (his mother's maiden name) and no links for him have been found to Haslingden


In 1908 Thomas Wren born in Birmingham married Beatrice Cochran also  born in Birmingham. Beatrice was living in Haslingden in 1901 with her family but was back in Birmingham by 1911 with her husband. Thomas signed up in Birmingham and died in 1915 in Greece.
In 1918 Beatrice Wren married John James Haworth at St James Parish Church.
